Restorative yoga is a practice that supports slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. It is the counter practice to strong, flowing yoga practices and a great way to compliment more athletic forms of yoga and exercise. Poses are supported by the use of props when needed and are held typically for 3-5 minutes. With the body fully supported, participants can take time to focus on deepening their breath and slowly releasing stress and tension stored in the body. The practice sets one up for a deep meditative and restorative state. This workshop is appropriate for all levels.
